In May 2024, Uniview donated AI sports training screens to Haiga Primary School in Dawan Township, Zhongshan District, Liupanshui City, Guizhou Province. AI has become the children's professional sports companion. Uniview's AI education and sports solution supports activities such as running, skipping rope, sit-ups, long jump, and pull-ups. This encourages students to participate in a variety of sports, with fun modes like PK (player vs. player) and leaderboards. Physical exercise becomes not only as fun as a game but also enhances the efficiency of physical education through accurate and intuitive digital methods.
On May 23, 2024, Uniview held a science popularization lecture titled "Fly, Free Raptors!" at Hangzhou Binjiang Experimental Primary School. Uniview donated AI observation systems to the IFAW Beijing Raptor Rescue Center's "I Found a Bird" app, enabling citizens to report injured birds and ensure immediate rescue. The AI system allows for clear observation of rehabilitating raptors without disturbance and without additional lighting. The 400 students present participated enthusiastically in a "picture poetry" activity, learning about peregrine falcons, red kites, and eagle-owls. They then answered the question together, "Why should we protect raptors?" — "Without human civilization, it’s meaningless; without wildlife on Earth, it’s lifeless." Today, we use technology to rescue raptors, aligning with the evolution of society and civilization. Engineers hope to use their code and hardware to make the world a little bit better.
Caring for people with disabilities, Uniview is taking action. On April 20, 2024, during the 44th Disabled Persons' Day in South Korea, Uniview donated devices to a vocational rehabilitation center for people with disabilities in Seoul. This donation aims to better assist disabled workers in responding to emergencies in a 460-square-meter workshop, creating a safer working environment for them.
On July 13, 2024, Uniview, along with Taishe Bookstore and the Fengtai District of Beijing, hosted an interactive lecture titled "Observing the Beijing Swifts." The Beijing Swift is the only bird species named after a city, and Uniview has provided technical solutions for the observation and research of these birds. Since 2021, the company has contributed a wealth of scientific data to the study of swifts through video, IoT, and smart technologies. Taishe Bookstore, known as the top of Beijing bookstores, hosted the lecture at its iconic Tongtian Tower. The event included interactive sessions on swift behavior and interesting facts, such as their "lifelong monogamy." The lecture concluded with young students creating a map of the Beijing Swift's 60,000-mile global migration route.
